Galvanized Steel Tanks
Description
Galvanized Tanks are hot dipped
galvanized in compliance with ASTM A123 standards. Steel parts are
pickled, then dipped in molten zinc, coating both interior and
exterior surfaces.
These galvanized tanks are
recognized by AWWA, and NSF certification is available for potable
water applications. Galvanized tanks are suitable for many
industrial applications, such as firewater protection, petroleum,
fuel oil, process water and wastewater storage. Capacities range
to six million gallons and are available in AWWA, FM, AISC and
other standard code approved designs.
Specifications: Hot dipped galvanized to meet ASTM A123 standards.
Zinc weight averages more than 2.0 oz. per square inch (610 grams
per square meter). Galvanized Tanks meet NSF-61 requirements and
are suited for a pH range or +6 to 12.
