API 675 Standard Dosing Systems
The API-675 process pumps are
powerful high precision process pumps for practically all
applications, flow rates and pressure requirements. They are used
in critical high pressure installations and where the performance
or application capability of classical metering pumps is exceeded.
They incorporate a hermetically sealed pumping chamber with a
patented control system for the replenishing valve and
double-diaphragm with condition monitoring system.

|
Applications:
A typical application is the delivery of large volumes of
liquid which for reasons of hygiene must be protected from
external contamination.
These pumps are also ideal for toxic or aggressive fluids,
and for suspensions with particle sizes up to 100 µm. They
meet the highest demands for operating security and
product quality at pressures up to 700 bar, and are used
in the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical
industries as well as for food and drink production.

Advantages
-
Economy and productivity
-
Modular design enables
exact adaptation to delivery requirements with up to
seven pump units.
-
Existing installations
can be extended as requirements change.
-
Constant volumetric
efficiency over the entire flow rate range, enabled by
the constant stroke design and the constant dead volume
in the pump head.
-
Very high overall
efficiency, ensured by minimal friction losses in the
gear and the use of high-performance roller bearings in
the drive unit.
-
Unlimited variability
from zero to maximum flow rate with energy-saving
variable speed drive units.
High availability
High quality components selected for
reliability and long life, and optimized design, ensure
minimum maintenance requirements |
|
|
|
High operating security
-
Double-diaphragm with
condition monitoring system.
-
Roller bearings in the
cross head enable operation at high suction pressures.
-
Infinitely variable
rotation speed from zero to maximum, unlimited start ups
and low wear even in continuous operation at ultra-low
rotation speeds, thanks to the use of roller bearings in
the gear.
Selectable delivery
characteristics
-
Low pressure and flow
rate variation using multi-cylinder configuration with
at least 3 pump units.
-
Optimization to
individual flow characteristics, e.g. for compressible
products, by selection of the optimum number of
cylinders (either odd or even).

Flexibility in operation
The modular design concept allows the use
of different types of drives to suit individual processes,
with speed control effected by a suitable gear and
controller.
Flow rate adjustment by rotation speed variation is
particularly economical with AC asynchronous motors
combined with a frequency converter. Other methods of
speed control can be used.
Adaptable to local requirements. |
